Your first 10 minutes
- 0–2 min · Test movement and camera.
Before a dangerous section, move forward, stop, turn the camera, and jump once. Notice how much distance you cover.
- 2–5 min · Preview the whole landing.
Look past the edge of the platform. A visible landing gives you a target; the obstacle itself is not the target.
- Use a straight approach.
Line your avatar up before moving. Midair corrections are less reliable than a clean takeoff.
- Pause after landing.
Let your character settle before the next turn. This is especially useful on narrow beams and small platforms.
- 5–8 min · Repeat the safest clear.
The official listing links progress with Wins. A route you can finish is more useful than a route you only almost finish.
- 8–10 min · Check live Ninja options.
When a Ninja becomes available, read the current in-game information. The official listing confirms more Speed, but does not publish costs or exact values.
Controls: use the prompts you see
Roblox supports keyboard and mouse, touch, and gamepads. Creators can customize input, so follow the live prompts shown on your device.
| Device | What to practice first | Beginner focus |
|---|---|---|
| Keyboard + mouse | Movement, camera, jump | Use short movement inputs and keep the landing centered. |
| Touch | Thumbstick, camera drag, jump control | Move the camera before the jump so both thumbs have one job. |
| Gamepad | Left stick, right stick, jump control | Reduce stick movement near narrow edges. |
Obstacle technique
Narrow paths
Center the camera behind your direction of travel, make one continuous input, and stop before turning. Official artwork clearly shows a long narrow yellow path as part of the game’s obstacle-course presentation.
Lava sections
Official artwork shows platforms and a rope-like path above lava. Treat every landing as a fresh setup: look, align, move, settle.
When Speed changes
A faster Ninja changes how far you travel during the same input. Return to an easy area and recalibrate rather than assuming your old timing still works.
What to do after the first clear
- Identify the obstacle that caused the most restarts.
- Repeat the approach to that obstacle until the setup feels familiar.
- Check current Wins and live Ninja options inside the game.
- If you unlock more Speed, retest on an easy jump before pushing farther.
- Use the mistake finder when the same failure repeats.
